It is predicted that by 2050, plastic in the oceans will outweigh fish. How sad is that!!!! Often trash, mostly plastic, flows through rivers to the ocean and washes up on our beautiful beaches. This trash endangers wildlife both on the beach, and in the water. We need your help to reduce the amount of plastic that washes back out to the ocean, and prevent it from getting there in the first place!!
Being a Beach Relief Eco-Advocate means that you want to #dowhatyoucan for our planet, and you want to clean up water way areas or beaches near you (or when you are on holiday!) Beach Relief wants to share your clean up successes on our social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook and YouTube) to show others that what YOU DO counts, and makes a difference. By sharing also on your own social media platforms - we can spread MORE awareness and more Eco-Advocates!!
YES! We want you to wear your T-shirt - and put your stickers on your reusable products to help start conversation and create awareness about the seriousness of the plastic pollution problem.
Beach Relief would appreciate a small donation ($25 or what you feel like donating) to help cover the cost of the T-shirts, stickers and shipping. We are a nonprofit organization and are happy to provide you with a receipt for your donation.
As a Beach Relief eco-advocate, you are welcome to join a monthly Zoom meeting where we will discuss upcoming Beach Relief initiatives and we would love to hear about your clean up experiences. This platform will give us an opportunity to get to know one another, regardless of where we live!
What you do counts and what you do matters. When we think of what Beach Relief so far has picked up off the beach alone in only 3 years - wow - so much trash!! The more hands we have on deck - the better!
If you are not interested in becoming an Eco-Advocate but want to donate to Beach Relief - thank you!! We are happy to send you a receipt for your donation.
